Model-X (Kiteboard)
Model-X (Kiteboard)
The Model-X is a performance-driven five-fin kiteboard that’s designed for strapless wave riding.
Favors: Rail carves, high-angle turns, and aerial maneuvers.
Waves: 2-6+ Feet
Build: Epoxy
The Model-X is designed to enhance rail engagement and replicate the ride characteristics we experience while traditional surfing.
It complements skilled to advanced level strapless wave riding and aerial maneuvers.
The outline features a blunt nose and parallel-type rails, with a pushed apex, and a tail template that enhances maneuverability throughout a range of speeds.
The rocker begins with a pronounced flip and low entry, blends to a long flat-ish primary, and finishes with a slight kick out the tail.
The hull is flat/slightly rolled at the nose, progressing into a generous single concave, and finishes with a subtle vee at the tail.
The rails are soft tapered and medium-low, with a hard edge that extends from the tail to near the middle of the board.
The center buoyancy and center of mass are balanced and neutral to the board length.
