The Goat
The Goat
The Goat is a performance-driven tri-fin with handling attributes that complement both competitive and daily-advanced surfing environments.
Favors: Rail carves, high-angle turns, aerial maneuvers, and barrel riding.
Waves: 2-6 Feet
Build: Epoxy
The Goat is designed to have inherently natural flow characteristics, enhance directional control, and remain predictable throughout complex maneuvers.
It complements skilled to advanced-level surfing and is tuned to be crisp and responsive.
Simple, functional, and well-defined. The Goat’s board logic is modeled to free the mind, boost rider confidence, and encourage progressive surfing.
The outline is fluid, balanced, and somewhat parallel through the middle. It has a slightly pushed apex, a streamlined hip phase, and a tail template that fits well in a range of pockets.
The stringer rocker begins with a modest flip and medium-low entry that blends to a long flat-ish primary and finishes with a slight kick out the tail.
The hull is flat at the nose and blends into slightly rolled rails, progresses into a generous single concave, and finishes with a flat tail.
The rails are soft tapered and medium-low, with a hard edge that extends from the tail block to forward of the front fins.
The center buoyancy and center of mass are balanced and neutral to the rocker apex.
